This sustainable art piece is created on an Apple product box with objects and materials already in my studio collection. The "Wade Whimsy" vintage owl is from my miniature collection, and his perch from my front yard. The stones and gold beads are sourced from a deconstructed necklace. The silver stars are straight pins dipped in paint and beads left over from Christmas stocking construction. Collage and assemblage are a satisfying way to use what's on hand--it's like a treasure hunt for just the right object.
