Artist
With a genuine love for the expression of abstract art, the artist has found a way to convey the complex undertones of life in her pieces. Her works capture real life moments through the interaction of line, color and movement on canvas while allowing the audience to freely interpret and enjoy the oneness with the piece.
Interest
Murdock draws inspiration from her personal experiences, her professional career, her family life, and her love for making a visual statement through color. Aside from her love for art and family, Murdock is a published song writer and musician.
Exhibitions
Murdock has been a lifelong artist focusing heavily on her painting since 2002. Fifty-six pieces of her art are presently displayed in a solo exhibition at the Wynne Home Gallery in Huntsville Texas, through the end of December. During her years of creating art pieces, Murdock’s work has been displayed and sold at various shows including the Wynne Home Gallery, Austin Fine Art Gallery, Cameron Fine Art Show, Austin Link & Pin Gallery, East Austin Art Tour, The Arc of the Capital Area “Bridges of Art” & “Art Celebration” Sam Houston State University, the University of Houston Victoria, Round Rock Art Shows, Westlake Artist Exhibit, Department of Information Resources Clements Show, and the State of Texas Art Show.
