After decades as an artist supporter/manager/gallery owner, I am now happily retired and making my own creations with soft pastels and acrylics.
My goal as an artist is three-fold. To portray to the viewer a spiritual connection that I have had since birth, to tell the story of how incredibly magical this planet is, and to convey my philosophical sense of peace and joy to the viewer.
Many of my images portray remote areas in Wyoming and Colorado where I find Spiritual rejuvenation each time I travel to these very special areas.
Matthew Fox, author of “Creation Spirituality” wrote… “God the Creator is the supreme artist, the Art behind the Art, the Imagination behind all imagination. the human is the image of God the Creator and therefore is radically creative, relating image to Image, beauty to Beauty, truth to Truth in the One creator- Artisan of all being.”
I believe we are all creative beings – we are all spiritual beings - it just takes awhile for us to find that center – that balance – that confidence to fly and listen to our inner voice.
